September 12, 2011 Council to Meet September 16 at Lone Tree Arts Center

DENVER (September 12, 2011). The Council will hold its quarterly board meeting at Lone Tree Arts Center located at 10075 Commons Street, Lone Tree, CO 80124. The meeting will discuss with the Art in Public Places selection committee on their approvals of art commissions and new de-accession policy. Meet with the new Creative Communities consultants Ginger White Brunetti and Maryo Ewell and hear their initial plans. View works and meet students from the Denver Film Society’s Young Filmmakers Workshop. Hear an overview of proposed incentive legislation discussion of benefits of the incentive and the industry-lead advocacy campaign. Council will approve the FY12 StART grants.
